(This scarf is my Knitting Olympics project. I had to rip out the first sock of Brenda's pair because of serious gauge error. It is very sad to rip out a completed sock but unless she had plans to wear a cast like Stew's and to wear the sock over the cast, it wouldn't have fit anyway. I figure I have to finish something for her sometime. So far, all she has are promises.)
I don't plan to stay away so long ever again!
The triplets have some new summer clothes....
Nevy is wearing grandma-knits and has been cuddled and loved....

....plus sewing and seeing our other grandchild (the camera shy Mitchell) and working on school stuff and maybe cooking and I do have to have surgery and cleaning out closets and....I love this early summer feeling!
Whew! Finally I can talk about knitting again! Since I had so many secret projects going, I was unable to even mention what I was working on...like this Misti Alpaca scarf for Kate.
And then there were Kate's "I want another pair" socks.
And Ellen's challenging Fibonacci Striped socks. Loved the yarn but striping caused me some headaches.
It's wintry cold even though the calendar still claims that it is autumn. There is still a lot to do to get ready for my dad's memorial party next weekend but all I want to do is cozy up at home and knit.
