Heading to ancient Egypt

Introducing the latest pharaoh PEAKhamen and her lovely son PEAKy Jr. Of course no one earns the right to be pharaoh. It is random thing, in this case decided by a drawing. This was part of my 4th graders' study of the Egyptian culture. We ended by celebrating with a festival.

Let's just say that I love 4th graders. Especially my current batch.

Expect a lot of Nevy....I just spent two weekends with my littlest girl!

Trying something new

Yes, Nevy is trying something new...Cheerios and self feeding. But that's not what I mean. I am going to try to post a picture a day for awhile. We will see if I can get into some sort of rhythm here!

After spending a wonderful weekend with this girl........we are getting ready to head south for a weekend with this girl! And I cannot wait!

I did it!

I finished my project~Brenda's scarf~for the Ravelympics and I received this medal
