I guess it was a trick question

The table does look like Grandma and Grandpa's...but it's not. It could be in a dining room or the room above the garage...but it's not. Sam hasn't been home for a couple of months, that is true. But being home wouldn't have helped him.

Maybe a second photo would have helped. The Nestle Inn. 2nd floor sitting area. That's my place to do logic puzzles but now that I think about it, I'm the only person who would recognize it. A dumb contest but it did show that none of us are particularly observant. We have never had a chair like that one at our house and Grandma B. made the needlepoint covers on the chairs in the dining room. So much for this family of wannabe spies!

I'm catching up but I'm way behind

It's that old joke: The faster I go, the behinder I get. In honor of March (a Crazy-Busy month at school) and because I am too tired to write much, I'm posting these photos of some of my 4th graders at their Egyptian Festival. Above, a rousing match of the ancient game of Senet. Below, our Pharaoh and Noblewoman enjoying their feast.
There is not much on earth cuter than 4th graders pretending to be Egyptians!

Lamblike

These pictures were taken right outside our front door on March 6. Normally it should still be lionish on this date but the recent lamb like conditions are coaxing shoots from the earth.
Crocus, daffodils and coral bells

I promise to be a good sport when the lion comes back because I know that these tender shoots are just waiting for warmth...and warmth is on its way.
